hilo is known as the largest settlement on the island
of hawaii. it is a coastal town that boasts a large population
of well over forty-thousand citizens. many people visit the
city, in hopes of getting away from their hectic home life from
wherever they are. hilo has many things to offer -- from a
university, to a high school and several festivals. it's not a
wonder why hawaii is regarded as one of the more 'happy'
states, being quite the tropical paradise.
