Lavender, the pharmaceutical company monopolizing the market. It wooed our
doctors first, and our doctors wooed us, until there was no word more apt to define
health and medication than 'l - a - v - e - n - d - e - r .' Those that resisted it were
extinguished with more ease than a candle's flame. With almost complete control,
Dr. Osiris Sable signed off on two research projects, Bomani and Valkyrie, which
stretched beyond conservative medical science and into Frankensteinian thought.
It wasn't enough to effectively overrule the government, Lavender had to be god, too.
